There are standard cotton diapers that are available to you at most department stores such as Wal-Mart. The best way to use these diapers for maximum efficiency is to invest in some hemp liners to go in the middle. These liners are available in many different varieties as well. You can buy hemp diapers such as Baby Kicks Hemparoo, which work well as liners buy not so much as outer diapers because they do not work well with snappis.

Snappis are this wonderful little invention which have replaced pins. No more pain in diapering! A snappi has 3 claws which grab onto the fabric and hold the diaper in place.

Which ever diaper you choose the best part about cloth diapers is all the money you save and what a difference you are making in the world.

A great and almost necessary addition to cloth diapering is rice paper liners. You can purchase these liners online through several different stores. You place the liner on top of the diaper before putting in on your baby and the liner protects the diaper from undesirable waste sticking to the diaper. This makes clean up much easier since all you have to do is flush the biodegradable liners down the toilet. Another plus is that you can use the liners 3+ times before they fall apart so if your baby only wets you just wash the liner in the washing machine and reuse!
